Recipe
Five-Minute Eggs, Jungle Sauce Style
3 March 2026
Not every recipe needs to be complicated to be worth writing down. This is the one we make on a weekday morning more than any other — five minutes, one pan, and a bottle of Jungle Sauce doing most of the work.
What you'll need
- 2–3 eggs
- A knob of butter
- Jungle Sauce, to taste
- Flaky salt
- Toast, if you're feeling ambitious
How we make it
- Melt the butter in a hot pan and crack the eggs in — fried, scrambled, whatever you're in the mood for.
- Cook them the way you like them. We're not precious about it.
- Slide onto a plate, add a good few dashes of Jungle Sauce, and finish with a pinch of flaky salt.
- Eat it before it goes cold. That's the whole recipe.
It doesn't sound like much on paper, but the habanero heat and coriander in Jungle Sauce turn a plain plate of eggs into something worth getting out of bed for.
